I hear Jesus say. It doesn’t have to be this way. Don’t rest on your understanding. Listen to Him. The King. Sing. Sing it out. All of the pain. All of the fear. All that you don’t hold dear. Can you hear? Listen. Stop. Stand in your tracks. Don’t hold it all back.
Scream out. Shout. Let it all out. Stamp your feet and kick. Kick the air. Say it doesn’t seem fair, does anyone out there CARE?
Cry until your eyes run dry. Shout out at the sky. Let God hear your cry. Ask Him WHY? WHY, WHY?
It has to go. All of it. To be let out. Until all that’s left is you. Your very essence, standing there in God’s presence.
Bury your head against His chest. Let Him hold you tight. Let out your fight. Your fear. Allow Him to come near.
He wants you to hear His cry and see His tears. And with them to wash away your darkest fears. He is whispering in your ear. Hear. That soft voice. He is giving you a choice.
Will you listen to Him or stay wrapped up in your skin. Begin to let him in. To breathe. To believe. It doesn’t have to be this way. Not now, tomorrow or today.
He has everything you need to succeed. To be free. To run and not grow weary. Listen.
His promises are true and they are for you. Those words of truth. He has the plan. He has the outcome. Just believe the Son.
