You are as badass as the proverbs 31 woman. Don’t feel pressured by her, feel challenged by her to raise to some real deal standards on life. You know, you got all that it takes already in you. You already are that woman. Or are standing or will be standing next to a gorgeous one like her. Let’s be intentional shall we and let’s look at what a boss of a woman you are. No striving, just being.

She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
You care about people. The ones that need a little hand, you give a hand, you help them on their feet again. You love them, you give them freely, you know they can’t pay you back for what you did for them. You see them. You cherish them. You believe in them. And you give them hope again. You show them light again. You surround them in wealth. You feed the hungry. And clothe the poor.
When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
She has no fear for the cold days, cause she knows her peeps are dressed in wealth and power. She is legit not afraid of the what if’s. She isn’t afraid of the snowstorms that might come across her path. Cause she KNOWS she is clothed in Gods wealth. She KNOWS she is clothed in Gods power. Keeping her warm, keeping her safe, keeping her alive. You are clothed in Gods wealth. You are clothed in Gods power. You are clothed in scarlet. In double-dipped scarlet. In this bright red. You are clothed by Jesus blood. You don’t have to fear for anything for you and the peeps you love, cause you are covered in Jesus. There is no denying about it. Go wear something bright red to remind yourself, you are dressed in his wealth, he got you babe.
She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
She makes a delicate cambric woven linen with a sheen. And she clothes herself in purple. She is wearing royal fashion. She is the real deal fashionista. She is royal. You are royal. Our daddy is the King above kings. Clothe yourself with the finest darling, you are a queen. Don’t play small. You got what it takes, your daddy believes in you. And yes, it takes work to go out there and slay. She made gorgeous things, they didn’t make themselves, be bold and do it, love. God works through you beyond.
Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
Her man is known in the public places, in the palace, in the city, in the temple. Her man is known by the influential people among the earth. He is one of the influential people on the earth. Just like you. You two are a power duo. Respect him, challenge him, see him for who he is. He is a king, a boss, a father, a grand leader, and a very hard worker, with grand authority, and responsibility in his sphere of influence. Don’t play small on him either. Love him like no other.
She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
Your fashionista she makes style. Your girl boss she makes and sells. The things you bring forth with your hands, they matter. Take your work serious love, they reach into other nations. To fashion is to make. Your fashion makes. Dress to bring forth the new.
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
You are strong and badass. People respect you, and you respect yourself. You aren’t afraid of the future. Cause you know God got this. And you know you got this. Don’t underestimate yourself, love. You are a badass woman.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
You are wise beyond. You aren’t playing small, and you don’t downplay people. Gossip is a no-no in your house. You uplift people with your wisdom. You don’t keep all the goodies for yourself. You spill the tea on the goodness of life. You are kind beyond because you speak with love on your tongue. You choose love. You choose to be kind. You aren’t afraid of other people’s potential cause you are secure in your own. You celebrate people and life, and aren’t shy to speak life.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
You don’t eat the fruit of laziness. Your life isn’t empty. You look out for others and yourself. You don’t play small, you don’t hang down. You take sacred time of rest, but you don’t let life pass you by, cause you are too afraid to partake. No you are a bold one, and you will do what it takes. Your fruit is delicious and extravagant.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
You set your kids up for success for the love you give them and the wisdom you teach them. You see them. You make progress darling, sometimes you might feel like you are stuck, but you are sooo blessed. Her husband praises her. Men speak lovely to her, show her love. Don’t talk dirty and disgraceful to her, praise her for her beauty, for who she, for what she does. Your words mean more to her than those of anyone else.
“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
Many women have done well, but we will surpass them all. They have covered the ground for us. They have fought for us. So we could surpass them. And we will do the same for the next generations. Our ceilings will be their platform to rise from. You are leaving a legacy. You are leaving a trail of love. You are leaving a sweet scent behind everywhere you go.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Charm, favour, grace can deceive someone, and beauty can give someone a reason to look up to someone, or to feel highly of yourself. But when beauty, charm and grace are rooted in the fear of God, they are irresistible. A woman like that she is to be praised, and to be spoken of. Beauty rooted in the fear of God isn’t passing, you face will glow more gorgeous than ever before. You will grace old beautiful like no other.
Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
I honor you for all that you have done in your life. For all the sacrifices you have brought. For all the prayers you have prayed. For all the kind words you have spoken. For all the dreams you have chased. For all the unsettling times you have pushed through. For all the tears you have cried out. Thank for being you and living your life. You will be praised beyond in Heaven by the sacrifices you brought on earth. And you will be blessed on this earth beyond for all the things you do, not in ways you expect them to come from, but keep your hands open, for God is good all the time.
