On this platform ‘Wild Hearts’, we want to bridge the gap between the wild ones and a wild God. This platform is dedicated to the Rebels, because we are God kids too.
Did you know Jesus was a rebel too? More about that a little later 😉
I always knew I was a free spirit. I just always had to learn for myself and experience life to come to my own conclusions. I think sometimes in the beloved church in which I am apart of, this can make people feel uncomfortable. I was named rebellious in my youth, because I decided to stop going to church and do things Christian kids aren’t supposed to do. There were some people in the church who cut me out of their life, there were some who just spoke about me and judged me, and there were some people who stuck by me with grace and love. A bit of a mixed bag, and honestly I get all of these reactions. It takes a lot of trust in God when it comes to the Wild Ones sometimes.
If I didn’t go on my own journey to learn life for myself in order to have my own convictions in regards to my own personal authentic faith in Jesus I probably would have lost my faith in my 30s.
Luckily, God is wild at heart and knows better than anyone how to get to His wild ones. Infact, I came back to God by encountering His love and kindness in a nightclub but that’s a story for another day.
Wild Ones, do you know that God understands how you tick?
My life changed one day when I felt the Holy Spirit say to me:
“I made you wild, my love,
I understand you,
You are made in my image,
You are wild like me.”
It’s always been God’s kindness that led me to wholeness and wanting to apologise for the wrong I’ve done in my life. Saying sorry in any relationship is key. It is also a natural response when we personally encounter the love of Jesus.
But, sadly a few people in church haven’t always got that. Bless’em! They are trying their best! Wild Ones can be triggering for people who like to stick to the rules. Usually these people want to try and control the Wild Ones, take options away from them to stop them being reckless, punish them maybe for failing, or getting angry at them. But this just won’t work for the Wild Ones, they live out of the box and cannot be controlled. They want something real if they are going to give their whole life to something.
So many Wild Ones have lost their faith over being misunderstood by Church, and so many Wild Ones just gave up on church because they felt squashed the second they stepped outta line or wanted to dance outside the pues. Or God forbid, commited a sin.
God isn’t phased by anything you are going through you know. Even whilst we were still sinners, He died for us. He’s seen it all from the beginning of time, and nothing is too much for Him (Jeremiah 32:27). God can scoop us up, and restore our hearts by one word! We only have to think about Wild Card Apostle Paul to know that! And the times He’s done that personally in our own lives. He wants to be in the middle of our mess as well as our best.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
and the day of vengeance of our God; t
o comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,
to give unto them beauty for ashes,
the oil of joy for mourning,
the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness, t
he planting of the Lord,
that he might be glorified.
And they shall build the old wastes,
they shall raise up the former desolations,
and they shall repair the waste cities,
the desolations of many generations.
– Isaiah 61
This is really good news.
And I’m so sorry if it became bad news.
There’s so much more to say, but I supposed I’ll leave that to this platform.
Father God, is zealously going after these Wild Ones from a heart of passion. He’s bringing them back to Him, by showing them His love and goodness. He’s a Father with open arms, ready to throw a celebration for His returning Wild Ones. (Luke 15:11)

☁️ about the blog ☁️
We want to help you work your faith out by talking about the things we process quietly behind closed doors in fear of of being judged. Asking questions can be totally vulnerable! And we want to create a safe place on here to do that. As wild ones, if we are not authentic it’s just a matter of time until we peace out. Often wild ones encounter God, and then when it comes to how to walk as a Christian we’r like ‘uhhh, how does this work?’
Of course God is working in us, but also Church fam is really important too. We want to process together how to spend time with God in a way that works for you, how to live like Jesus, how to read the bible, etc etc.
We always want to share wild encounters from friends around the globe because this Wild God is so real. He’s changing people’s lives everyday and we need to share the message and the work of Christ. He is the Hope for the world. Testimonies are not only so fun, but it’s how Wild Ones will see that this isn’t about tradition, rules and a serious God. This gospel, is real, alive and wild. I know that when I hear someones story of how they encountered God, it resonates with the wild spirit within me, and it will with you too.
